Photowalk Saturday 7th October

Well the weekend flew by!  Saturday was a good day, it started off with a bit of drizzle and was a little cool but I quite enjoyed the walk although those areas on a Saturday will always be busy with families and tourists, and of course photographers only there were more of us than normal this time.

we started off at the Tate Modern, along the South bank to Borough Market and then down to More London and across Tower Bridge.  It was a shame Tower Bridge is currently closed to traffic for maintenance works (until end December 2017) which precluded the obligatory bus shots 🙂  From Tower Bridge  we meandered across by the Walkie Talkie building, Lloyds and the Gherkin, down London Wall and into Paternoster Square.

One of the things I should have done was print a hard copy of the map, unfortunately my phone died and I lost the route and ended up walking towards Tower Gateway and then losing the rest of the group!   OK, time to head home and I picked up the rest of the walk the following day which will be why my weekend flew by.

I’ve been playing with the exercises recently and lost a little of my focus due to work commitments, however I did manage to get some great shots and work towards material for my next assignment.
